How to make a yugioh 5d deck?

I used to play back from the first gen to duel academy. I started playing MTG and want to play the new yugioh as well but i dont understand the new crap like synchro monsters. Also i have no clue how to build a good deck with these, can someone give some suggestions.

2. Dont text anybody. Sounds like a pedophile to me. Anyways. The way Synchros work is you look at the synch monsters level, for example its 8. Then you need a "Tuner" monster like this http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/yugioh/images/c/c1/JunkSynchron5DS2-EN-C-1E.png Now as you can see this tuner has a level of 3. Since your synchro monster is level 8 you will need a level 5 monster to go with your level 3 tuner to make level 8. Then sent both to the grave to special summon the synchro monster from the Extra deck (Same place yo u keep fusion monsters). 3. u dont need synchros for a good deck. i run beatdown/swarm wind and its unstoppable! here are some neede cards if ur running wind: flying kamakiri#1x3 hunter owlx3 any number of trickys harpie ladie 1x2-3(i use 2 and one cyber harpie) simorgh, bird of ancestry rising air currentsx3 its up to u other than that and if u want synchros add 2-3 mist valley soldiers
