Can you update me with the metagame in Yugioh?

Yeah my cousin just recently started and I want to know what are the good decks, what structure decks are out that are good to use. Yeah and the banned and restricted list, I'm gonna buy her some cards that she can use.

1. Get the Dragon Deck then buy cards you need
2. Get your cousin a Blue Eyes White Dragon and a Dark Magician...'cause those are like the only two cards I know.
3. The Machine and Dragon Decks are some of the best decks out there. Both of the decks focus on raw power, but the machine deck was recently released, while the dragon deck was released a while ago, so the machine deck has some support from more recent cards, and is probably easier to find. I personally also like the zombie deck, because it relies on a more tactical advantage. The Zombie deck was released the same time as the Dragon deck, though. The machine deck is probably the best to get, though, because the "Zane Trusdale Duelist Pack" gives the deck alot of support, and the price of 1 of these packs is half the amount of any normal booster pack (that isn't called a Duelist Pack) Also, the "Chazz Princeton Duelist Pack" has some good machiene monsters. 5. Get maybe warrior decks since i keep on beating you from mine.. or if you're that defenseive and magic type then get a magician deck.. usually i like to get myself a elemental hero or destiny hero decks.. but that's beyond me of course..
