Do you think a satire should have been deleted for copyright infringement? Satire is not copyright infringement. An example: You take clips from I don't know... Spongebob and put your own soundtrack and voiceover on it. You Tube!!! That's not Copyright Infringement!!!

2. i think your idea that a satirized version should have stayed is correct. but youtube has to watch out for its liability risks and they can pull the plug anytime. lawyers pretty much run the world.
